FAQs on Public Workshops
Who should attend the public workshops?
We recommend our workshops for anyone who wants to learn how to be more about the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and how to be effective allies – as individuals, classmates, teachers, professors, social workers, healthcare providers, people of faith, community leaders, politicians, parents, family, and more.
Where are the public workshops?
Our workshops take place on Zoom. To join, you must have access to a stable internet connection and an electronic device (e.g. computer, phone, tablet).
Is there a cost?
Yes. Our team puts a lot of time and energy into developing programming that addresses various topics within the queer and trans community. This is a significant amount of emotional labour, both in the program development and in facilitation. For our public workshops, admission is by donation. At this time, we are unable to offer free programming. However, we do provide a recommended sliding scale, recognizing that folks have different donation abilities. If you are able to donate on the higher end, that is greatly appreciated, as this also helps to cover the cost of those who need to donate on the lower end.
How do I sign up?
Simply complete our registration form and you will receive a confirmation and invoice within 3 business days.
Not able to make the remaining 2026 dates? Complete our waitlist form to be the first to find out about future workshops.
